Today a phrase was discovered scratched into a barthroom stall at the high school that made reference to a weapon. The phrase was small and hard to view, and it is not known how long the phrase had been present. Through conversation between administration and our school resource officers, we do not believe that this is a credible threat that should cause alarm. In cooperation with local law enforcement we have increased our diligence in supervision on campus.

National Teacher Appreciation Week is a week-long celebration in recognition of teachers and the contributions they make to education and society. National Teacher Appreciation Week is held in the first full week of May of every year.
This year the Dockins Broadcast Group and the Fredericktown R-1 School District invites you to join us as we give students, parents, school staff, and the community an opportunity to show their appreciation for the hard work teachers do and the long hours many of them put in. Starting on March 27th listeners can go online to nominate the teacher of their choice for a chance to win a Cash Prize! Nomination deadline will be April 20th. One teacher from each school district (in our listening area) will be selected. Winners will be announced the last week of April and presented with their Prize!
