At Fredericktown High School, we believe that interscholastic athletics are a vital part of the total educational experience. Athletics are an extension of the classroom where students cultivate skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, leadership, risk-taking, resilience and confidence. These qualities will help our students to achieve success throughout their lives. Through the collaborative and competitive nature of sports, our students are encouraged to strive to reach their full potential and pursue levels of achievement they may have not thought possible.

The Fredericktown Athletic Program provides our athletes numerous opportunities to grow and develop.. Our athletic programs stress the importance of physical fitness and instill a lifelong appreciation of healthy activity. We stress that participation in these activities are a privilege and we encourage a positive relationship between our coaches, our athletes, and our parents.

Fredericktown is a proud member of MSHSAA (Missouri State High School Activities Association) . We consider ourselves 12 programs, 1 Team. We compete in Football, Girl’s Softball, Girl’s Volleyball, Girl’s Tennis, Boy’s and Girl’s Soccer, Boy’s and Girl’s Basketball, Golf, Baseball, Cross Country, and Boy’s and Girl’s Track and Field. A complete listing of teams is available on this website. I invite you to explore each of our competitive programs that we offer, and be sure to visit our site often for the latest updates and events.

This website will also include links to the MSHSAA site, which will include eligibility information and a copy of the MSHSAA physical form, permission to play form, and the concussion awareness form, all of which must be completed in order to participate.
